Limpet rice

  • 1 kg of limpets
  • 1 cup of rice
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 big onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Tomato pulp as needed
  • Salt as needed
  • Piri-piri as needed

Preparation

    Give the limpets a boil to separate the flesh from the shells.

    Wash the limpets to clean any debris that may have been stuck to them.

    In a saucepan, sauté the chopped onion.

    Next, add the chopped garlic and sauté for a little longer.

    Then, add the tomato pulp, rice, and piri-piri, and sauté for a few more minutes.

    Finally, add the water and salt. Let it cook until the rice dries up.
