On the 14th of December, we were distinguished with the status of “PME Excellence” for the year 2021, in a ceremony that took place at 10 am, at “Exposalão Batalha”.
It’s with great pride that we receive this distinction again, as it is a great recognition of all the work carried out, and because it consequently values the fishing sector on our region. We thank all our employees, suppliers and customers for having contributed to make this happen.

The “PME Excellence” status has existed since 2008 and is awarded by “IAPMEI” – Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, and by “Turismo de Portugal” (in the case of tourism companies), in partnership with a number of banks and mutual guarantee societies. Its main goal is to distinguish companies with high performance profiles, giving them notoriety and advantages to be able to develop their growth strategies.
Criteria such as financial autonomy, net return on equity, growth in turnover in the previous year, among others, are evaluated for its attribution.
