Start by preparing the paste to coat the fish by crushing the 3 garlic cloves with a bit of salt.
Add the azorean red pepper paste, bell pepper paste, peppers, and the juice of half a lemon. Mix everything together.
Make a few diagonal cuts on the fish and coat it with the paste you prepared.
Let it marinate for at least 3 to 4 hours.
After this time, make a bed of onion slices in a baking tray.
Place the fish on top and drizzle with olive oil.
Bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes.
Serve with a side dish of your choice.
