The Tuna Route festival returns this year, this time in April.
From the 24th to the 30th, you will once again be able to join cooking workshops with a tasting of this fish, visit tuna boats and dine each day with different themes and tuna dishes.
As the Autonomous Region of Madeira is responsible for more than 60% of the total tuna catch in Portugal, and as the seas surrounding the island of Porto Santo are part of the route for this species, the festival, which is organized by Vila Baleira Resort, thus appears as a way of honoring tuna in its most diverse aspects.
Don’t miss this great opportunity to taste one of our main products.
